About Michael


Michael Echols is a Bastrop native and Ouachita Parish businessman elected outright to the Louisiana House of Representatives on October 12, 2019 to represent District 14. The district covers Ouachita parish.

Representative Echols has served on the Louisiana House of Representatives Republican Executive Committee, the Health and Welfare Committee, the Labor and Industrial Relations Committee, and the Civil Law Committee.

Michael has been recognized for his dynamic leadership, innovative approach to problem-solving, and heart for public service. His list of accomplishments and involvement is impressive:
